Cultural Cook-up with Refugees

Cultural Cook Up with Refugees is a series of cooking classes at Great Nature Vegetarian Snacks and Grocery at Christie’s Beach, South Australia. Come along and see a refugee demonstrate how to make a dish from their own culture and try the dish at the end of the class! Find out more about their life and story and walk a mile in their shoes at the same time. All tickets are free. Limited tickets are available so make sure to book your tickets as soon as possible. There are a limited number of tickets available to order per session per person. The event is being put on by Circle of Friends Australia Incorporated (Circle 9), a 100% volunteer run refugee support group and supported by the City of Onkaparinga – and this event will also be part of Welcoming Week 2024.
