Mayor’s Proclamation Reading & Naturalization Ceremony and Resource Fair

The kick-off event for Welcoming Salt Lake 2024 will start with the reading of the Welcoming Week 2024 Proclamation, signed by Mayor Jenny Wilson of Salt Lake County and other city and township mayors in Salt Lake County. Following the proclamation reading, over 50 community members will take the citizenship oath of allegiance. Our mayors will then congratulate these newest United States citizens. After the Naturalization Ceremony, there will be a community resource fair involving various County agencies and community partner organizations.
