Welcoming Week Community Baby Shower

On Friday, September 13, 2024, KFY will host a Community Baby Shower at William Ramsay Recreation Center. Parenthood is an exciting journey, but it also comes with many questions. This event is an opportunity to celebrate our community’s parents and provide them with valuable information and resources to help them navigate family life in Alexandria. Expecting or new parents will receive a gift bag and a children’s book.

Our exhibitors will include: The Center for Alexandria’s Children, the Alexandria Health Department, Northern Virginia Family Services – Healthy Families, the Infant and Toddler Connection of Alexandria/PIE program, Neighborhood Health, Inova Partnership for Healthier Communities, First Shift Justice Project, The Campagna Center, Anthem Health Keepers Plus Medicaid, Alexandria City Public Schools, InspireLit, the Alexandria City Library, and the KFY Family Council.
