Minnesota North College Vermilion Campus Welcoming Week 2024
Now in its 12th year as a global campaign and in its inaugural year at Minnesota North College, Welcoming Week 2024 is a call for individuals and groups to come together and celebrate their strengths and differences. This year’s theme, We’re All In, invites communities to showcase how they’re building places that value all perspectives, backgrounds, experiences, and cultures. Through our campus community connections’ activities and events, Vermilion Campus is providing individuals and community organizations the opportunity to publicly proclaim welcoming values, foster mutual understanding, and build a deeper sense of belonging for all. We hope you join in, and we thank all those that have helped organize and are willing to volunteer at the events below:
Sunday, September 15
- College & Community Potluck Dinner, 3pm – meal preparation and 5pm dinner, at Ely Folk School

- Led by Ely’s Sage Foundation, Vermilion students will develop a menu, shop for groceries, and learn how to cook and prepare the main dishes. Join us at 5pm for a free meal; bring a side dish; and enjoy – bon appѐtit!

- Welcome to the Vermilion Library Open House, 9am-3pm, cs102
