Welcoming Week 2024: Sharing our Latino Cultures through Dance
Join Nueva Vida (New Life) on Sunday, September 22nd in Alexandria, VA (Market Square) and enjoy cultural dance performances from different Latino cultures to celebrate the diversity of Alexandria’s Latino immigrant community. This family-friendly event will showcase different experiences, backgrounds, and culture through performative dance to cultivate a mutual understanding between immigrants and non-immigrants and inform the general population of the contributions of the Latino community to build a deeper sense of belonging and welcoming for all. These performances are free and no registration is required.
Nueva Vida is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the Latino community with or at-risk of cancer through our signature programs, including outreach & education, patient navigation, and mental health support.
